VISION

Encounter Culture: A Missions Collaborative in and for New England

Our vision is to see a disciple-making movement in New England fueled by genuine encounter with the Living God, equipping every believer as a missionary to their context, and creating extended spiritual families (“outposts”) on mission.

We are a mission agency putting the mission of God into the hands of ordinary people, independent of denominational affiliation, rooted in historic Trinitarian faith, fueled by pentecostal dynamism and apostolic drive.

We come alongside established churches while also equipping a decentralized network of primarily “non-professional” missionaries and communities (outposts), with a goal of seeing…

a missionary in every neighborhood,
an outpost in every town,
and a collective of outposts in every city in New England.

The Missions Collaborative

helping churches cultivate a culture of encountering God and multiplying healthy missional disciples

We come alongside established churches (traditional congregations and “extended families on mission”) by facilitating catalytic opportunities for equipping such as Encounter Weekends, Aftermath, and Kingdom Training. We also specialize in coaching for pastors, ministry leaders, and outpost leaders to better equip and release their members to multiply healthy missional disciples.

New England Underground

an innovative yet ancient way of embodying Jesus’ mission in New England

We serve a decentralized network of equipped “everyday missionaries,” ordinary people who have encountered Jesus, by calling them from every neighborhood, connecting them with a community mission “outpost” in every town, and supporting them through a collective “hub” of outposts in every city in New England, all operating in the Spirit of Isaiah 61.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me…

The Gospel of the Kingdom is the in-breaking of God’s reign, transforming what life is into “the way life should be.” The Kindom breaks in when people encounter the kindness of God and walk in the light through vulnerable confession, repentance, and forgiveness, and so experience deliverance from the domain of darkness, which is often brought about by past wounds, trauma, and pain.

For over a decade, we have equipped this disciple-making movement in New England to produce emotionally healthy, transformed lovers of Jesus who know how to encounter his presence in the ordinary and embody his character and skills in their spheres of influence.
